General information

Is my regular driving licence sufficient?
  • For the vehicles of the categories Adventure, Compact, Comfort, Expedition as well as Family&Friends a valid driving licence of class B (car) is sufficient. For the Luxury category, a driving licence of class C1 is required.
  • Regardless of age, the driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least 6 months. This applies to all drivers who drive on the vehicle during the rental.
Am I allowed to smoke in the vehicle?

All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking.

Where can I drive with my WebCamper?

For security reasons, only journeys within the EU + Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco are currently permitted.

What happens in case of an offence against the road traffic regulations?
  • The renter undertakes to use the vehicle only on the roads or paths permitted for the vehicle and to comply with the road traffic regulations in force in the respective country.
  • The renter is responsible for ensuring that the respective permissible total weight of the vehicle is not exceeded. Penalties or the costs of damage in case of overloading are to be paid by the renter.

Reservation and payment

What is the standard reservation procedure?
  • Reservation via our booking form, by e-mail or by telephone. You will then receive an offer from us by e-mail.  
  • For the final reservation, we ask you to confirm this in writing by e-mail and to transfer the pre-payment to our account within 7 days.  
  • If we have not received the pre-payment after 7 days at the latest, the reservation will be forfeited.
Do I have to make a pre-payment or pay a deposit?
  • A pre-payment of 25% of the rental price is required at the time of reservation. Payment of the remaining amount is required 1 month before the rental.
  • A deposit of €1,200 is required on handover. (Payable by credit card or in cash).
  • Subletting or passing on the vehicles to third parties is not permitted.

Animal companions

Are dogs and other pets allowed in the camper?
  • Dogs are only allowed in various vehicles in the Adventure, Compact, Comfort and Family&Friends categories (on request).
  • Maximum 1 dog per vehicle and a surcharge of €80 due to additional cleaning costs will be required.

Pick-up and return

When and where can I pick up my vehicle and return it after my holiday?
  • Pick-up and return of the vehicles will take place at the following address: Voyages Emile Weber | Z.A. Reckschleed | L-5411 Canach or WebCamper (Wohnmobile Saarland) | Industriestraße, 3 | D-66740 Saarlouis
  • Pick-up from 15:00 at the earliest on the day of rental. Appointment for handover necessary. Please plan 1 hour for pick-up.
  • Return by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the agreed return day.  
  • The vehicle must be returned with a full tank. Depending on the service package booked, the renter may have to clean the exterior and interior of the vehicle and empty the tanks (grey water and toilet). If the interior is extremely dirty, you will be charged for the additional cleaning costs (flat rate €200). Please plan at least 20 minutes for return.
  • Pick-up and return of vehicles possible from Monday to Saturday. (not possible on Sundays and public holidays).
What do I have to pay attention to during pick-up and return?
  • Depending on the service package booked, the renter will receive a brief or detailed introduction to the vehicle upon pick-up (please plan 1 hour for this).
  • The vehicle is washed, cleaned and handed over with a full tank. The fresh water tanks are also filled and the toilet is ready for use.
  • The vehicle must be returned with a full tank. Depending on the booked service package, the exterior and interior cleaning as well as the emptying of the tanks (grey water as well as toilet) may have to be carried out by the renter.  
  • If the interior is extremely dirty, you will be charged for the additional cleaning costs (flat rate €200).  
  • Please plan at least 20 minutes for return.

Cancellation

Do I still have to pay in case of cancellation?
  • In case of cancellation, the following scale of cancellation fees is due. This also applies in case of cancellation of the booked additional packages.
    • Up to 60 days: Free of charge
    • From 59 days to 45 days: 25%.
    • From 45 days to 30 days: 50%
    • From 29 days to 7 days: 75%
    • From 7 days to 1 day: 90%
    • In case of no-show: 100%
  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing by e-mail.

Insurance, damage or breakdowns

Am I insured in case of an accident, damage or theft?
  • Full comprehensive insurance with excess is already included in the rental price for all vehicles.
  • Included services WebCamper insurance:
    • Comprehensive insurance: Yes
    • Deductible (franchise): €1,200
    • Legal protection: Yes
    • Theft, fire: Yes
    • Glass breakage, cracks in windscreen: Yes
    • Damage caused by wild animals: Yes
    • Multiple drivers: Yes
  • Damage to the awning as well as to the interior of the vehicle caused by the renter as a result of incorrect operation, overuse, vandalism or use of force is not covered by the insurance. The cost of repairing such damage must be paid in full by the hirer.
  • Damage to tyres is generally not covered by the insurance.
  • Personal belongings: Your personal belongings are not covered by the insurance, neither in case of theft from the vehicle nor in case of damage resulting from an accident.
What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
  • In case of an accident or breakdown where no further travel is possible, please contact our 24/7 hotline. We will take care of it and discuss the further procedure with you. (In an emergency, please contact the emergency services first!).
  • If the damage to the vehicle cannot be repaired within a reasonable period of time and it is therefore impossible to continue your journey, we will either provide you with a replacement vehicle or, if no replacement vehicle is available, we will organise your return transport. (Costs will be covered by us).
  • It is strictly forbidden to carry out any work or repairs on the vehicle without our explicit consent.
